The TaylorMade R9 SuperTri driver merges the top features of the original R9 and the R9 460 drivers, offering a maximum-sized driver that delivers exceptional distance and remarkable forgiveness.

Featuring a 460cc head, the R9 SuperTri includes both Flight Control Technology (FCT) and Movable Weight Technology (MWT).

When the R9 and R9 460 were initially released, TaylorMade's engineers had not yet figured out how to combine the best aspects of both clubs.

Now, they have successfully integrated these features, resulting in the R9 SuperTri.

To fit both Movable Weight Technology and Flight Control Technology into a 460cc club head, TaylorMade needed to save weight.

They achieved this by:

• Using their Ultra-Thin Wall technology more efficiently throughout the club.
• Reducing the weight of the Flight Control Technology mechanism by approximately three grams.
